Furniture: MAC laboratories are the most local company specialist in Furniture Here in Iraq we Have A wide Range of Furniture Manufactures from various Countries (Germany, Korea, Turkey, India, and China).
MAC Laboratories offers an extensive range of laboratory furniture, available in many different formats. You will certainly be able to find those elements that match your individual needs.
CENTRAL BENCH
Made of highly chemical-resistant stoneware, and initially designed for chemical analysis, double-sided benches are an indispensable part of laboratory environments. They create a functional and optimal work space for R&D, quality assurance, instrumental and microbiology laboratory staff.
Being double-sided, central benches are key to the efficient use of workspaces.
Sink units are separated from the central bench with a plexiglass panel. They are inclusive of a laboratory water tap, an emergency eyewash shower and a drying rack.
WALL BENCH
Our standard-compliant wall benches will provide you with ergonomic work space and plenty of housing for your devices.
A modular structure means unlimited design potential. It creates an ample work space with gas valves, sink units, shelving and electrical installations. Hanging cabinet solutions can double your storage space. Wall benches are designed with worktops that have a minimum of 24-hour chemical resistance.
FUME CUPBOARD
Fume cupboards are designed to limit exposure to toxic chemicals which may be found in laboratories. They are not designed for use with microorganisms. The suitable solution for biological experiments are microbiological safety cabinets.
The performance of fume cupboards depends on a set of clearly-defined factors:
• EN 14175-compliant initial design and minimum standard requirements,
• The positioning of fume cupboards relative to other equipment, local air flow and the space occupied by tenants inside the laboratory, and
• The type of functions that fume cupboards are used for, and their subsequent ventilation.
The use of fume cupboards must be decided in accordance with risk analyses performed by professionals during the laboratory design process. Ventilated fume cupboards are suitable for use in most laboratories where chemicals are being used. Standard fume cupboards are, on the other hand, better adapted to lower-risk laboratory environments. For use with hydrofluoric, perchloric or hot concentrated mineral acids, it is necessary to resort to “high performance” fume cupboards.
ACID-BASE CABINET
Corrosive chemicals must be stored in cabinets that are specifically made of corrosion-resistant materials. Acid-base cabinets contain two separate sections which ensure the separate storage of acids and alkaloids.
Body and doors are made of laminated MDF panels and their surface of contact with chemicals is covered with polypropylene. A mobile shelving system ensures maximum safety. Vent panels that are placed in between each shelf ensure the regular evacuation of corrosive vapors from within the cabinet.
The two separate sections are entirely independent and can be locked separately. DIN 68857-compliant cabinet doors contain HAFELE-branded hinges (270°) and locks, as well as plastic profiles and vent panels. DIN-compliance on cabinet doors is ensured with a “corrosive chemical” warning label.

STONEWARE – (High Chemical Resistance)
Stoneware worktops are produced as a single layer with a 26/33mm raised rim OR a 22 ± 2mm-thick flat surface. They are produced as a single piece for up to 180cm of width. EN 933-compliant worktops are made of high-quality, lead- and cadmium-free recyclable silicate. Worktops reach maximum quality by being sintered at 1200°C in order to obtain high chemical resistance. EN/DIN compliance documentation can be provided on request. In addition to being mechanically-resistant to shocks, stoneware protects your worktop against:
• Scratches
• Wear
• Radioactive substances
• UV
thereby ensuring long years of use.
In keeping with the EN 10545 standard, stoneware worktops resist:
• All acids with the exception of high-concentrated hydrofluoric acid
• Alkaloids (bases)
• Salts
• Mineral solvents
At all levels of heat and concentration.
Sink spaces are cut out and glazed in production plants prior to the installation of undermount sink units.
Epoxy worktop
The epoxy resin coating ensures high chemical resistance.
Worktops made of epoxy resin are generally used in laboratories with high requirements for worktop chemical resistance, for example in traditional wet chemistry laboratories. They are an alternative to worktops made of ceramic materials, such as large-area ceramic worktops. Worktops made of epoxy resin do not chip, even under heavy mechanical impact load.
Ceramic worktop
Exceptional chemical resistance
Worktops made of large-area solid ceramic can be used almost everywhere. They are suitable for laboratories where aggressive substances are used. Ceramic worktops are also often used in areas where less aggressive chemicals are handled, such as equipment benches, because they do not show signs of wear even after long use.
